Which trailer types are supported in Trailer Solutions?

Empty dry vans are supported at this time. All other trailer types are in development.

Loaded trailers: how do I attach to, or detach from, my loaded trailer?

Please use your normal macros for loaded trailers, or contact your Driver Manager/Driver Leader for additional help.

How do I update my routeline?

Please contact your Driver Manager/Driver Leader to update your routeline.

What do I do if I have a problem with a trailer solution?

Our data is usually accurate, but not always. Please use the in-app feedback button to report the following: 

  • Customer refused to release a trailer

  • Trailer Damaged

  • Unable to find trailer

  • Trailer is loaded

  • Another truck is attached

Or, you can report the problem to your Driver Manager/Driver Leader. Please include screenshots/pictures/videos if you can.

The app is running really slow.

If you are in an area with low data or poor internet connection, this might be expected. If not, please report the issue right away via the feedback button in your Pointe or KT Mobile Dashboard in the FreightBox section.

Can I report an abandoned or misused trailer in Trailer Solutions? 

Not yet, that’s coming soon though!

What do I do if I recieve an authentication error?

If something is off with your login credentials, you will get an

authentication error.  

  • Eleos tablet: restart the device 

  • Android personal device

    1. Go to Settings

    • Click Apps

    • 3. Go to Pointe

    • 4. Click on Storage

    • 5. Click the 'Clear cache' option 

  • iPhone personal device:   

    • 1. Go to Settings

    • 2. Select General

    • 3. Select iPhone Storage

    • 4. Go to Pointe or KT Mobile

    • 5. Select Delete App

    • 6. redownload the app once complete 

If the problem persists, submit feedback via your Pointe/KT Mobile dashboard or contact your Driver Manager/Driver Leader or planner to resolve the issue.

Why can't I see my fuel stops or PTA?

If you are not seeing fuel stops, PTA, or other next load information, you likely need to clear out your trailer navigation task. To do this, go to your Pointe/KT Mobile dashboard, click on the Trailer Navigation task, and click the big red button that says “Clear Trailer Nav”.

Is there a satellite view for better locating trailers? 

There sure is! Click the small box that contains two squares layered on top of one another. Select that button to toggle between the various view options such as Normal, Satellite, Traffic conditions, and Show traffic incidents.

Do I have to download Trailer Solutions?

Nope! Lucky for you, it’s a Web App, which is a fancy way of saying it looks like an app but it’s a website. It’s accessible from your Pointe or KT Mobile apps. 

Who built Trailer Solutions?

Trailer Solutions is an in-house FreightBox team product, built by KNX developers. That means we’re here, we’re responsive, and we’re motivated to build the product that works for you! 

Why am I getting an "Unavailable" screen?

You might see a trailer unavailable screen for many reasons: 

  • The trailer is held for another driver.

  • The trailer is in a status that makes it unavailable (loaded, shop status, etc.) 

What trailers are "near" me?

We display trailers that are within a 20 mile radius of you (in "Find a Trailer" view). If you’re at a customer location (Select a Trailer view), we show only the trailers at that customer.  

Why am I seeing these errors?

Location Error

We use your truck’s AS400 location to run Trailer Solutions. When your truck’s location wasn’t updated within the last 15 minutes, then we show you this error so that you are aware that the location may be off.

Camera Error

When your camera permissions are off, you might see this error. You will be unable to use QR scanning if your camera permissions are disabled.
