Trailer Tags are an added layer of information on trailers in specific situations and states. In the map they are shown

next to the Trailer Status Bucket on the individual trailer cards.

Purpose

• Gives visibility to certain trailers that need action taken and enables ownership for those trailers.

• Allows various teams to communicate that trailers are in certain states to all map users.

• Combines a wide range of data points for a more flexible way to indicate trailers in a variety of situations.

• Enables enhanced reporting for trailers that are tagged.

What Tags currently exist in Asset Tracker?

• Available+

• Rogue

• Loaded Unknown

• Repairs Needed/Critical Repairs Needed

• Inactive

• Tow Risk

• Towed

How are tags added/removed from trailers?

Systematically  Some tags are added to and removed from trailers automatically. Criteria for these tags consider

data points like: Trailer status, load status, cargo sensor, operations events/calls,attachments, GPS moving pings, and trailer damage reports

Manually Various user groups can manually add and remove some tags to and fromtrailers in the map with the + button on trailer cards. The trailers need to meet certain criteria to be added.

Note: Be aware that there is overlap, where tags can be added manually but removed systematically, and vice versa.
